The former version sells for about $400 and comes in white, matte black and rootbeer. The latter version, which retails for $495, comes in four vibrant colors that include tortoise with gold iridium polarized lenses, night camouflage with black iridium polarized lenses, matte black with black iridium lenses and a special red camo one with black iridium polarized lenses. Both MP3 sunglasses use USB 2.0 for file transfer and have an amazing battery life of six hours. In addition, it comes with a USB cable to recharge the player and if you like, a wall charger option. Controlling the music player is easy. All you have to do is click on any of the three buttons on the right temple to skip tracks, fast-forward and turn the mp3 on or off.You listen to the music via speaker booms attached to the arms that adjust easily for a customized fit. When used correctly, the sound quality is excellent. As per usual with the sound in other non-MP3 player applications like watches or phones, the bass that comes out of your MP3 sunglasses will seem like it's coming out of an iPod.
Although the design of MP3 sunglasses are usually a bit on the ostentatious side, they are incredibly lightweight. The "Thump"'s frames are made of the durable and light "O Matter" material. If you're a girly-girl, you may not find these sunglasses to your liking. They kind of resemble what a covert army commander would wear to communicate to his men. However, if you're willing to go outside and don't give a care about how people perceive you, you should go ahead and revel in the coolness that comes with being able to listen to music in your MP3 sunglasses. |
